Creality Titan/ V6 Direct Drive 40mm Hotend Fan
thingiverse
This is a bold attempt at combining a Titan extruder/V6 with effective part cooling and a 40mm hotend fan cooling system. The current release may require updates based on feedback from early adopters. I'm hoping some of you will be brave enough to give it a try and let me know if I've nailed it or if it's a non-starter. The part cooling system utilizes the same successful nozzle geometry used in my other designs, but with additional material around the nozzle outlets for increased durability. The system features 8mm of vertical adjustment with reinforced attachment points to ensure correct orientation. A sturdy clamp is incorporated to provide rock-solid attachment to the Creality carriage. This ensures a secure and stable connection during printing operations. The BLTouch mount allows the probe to be removed without disturbing its vertical location, making it easy to perform maintenance tasks. All parts should be printed in the orientation as downloaded. The duct will print with no support, while the clamp, cover, and BLTouch mount will also print without supports. However, some selective support may be required for the mount itself, depending on your printer's performance with bridging. The BLTouch adapter will need support from the base only. BLTouch offset is set to 0, 45. The necessary hardware includes: M3 x 8mm socket head bolts (1) M3 x 12mm socket head bolts (5) M3 x 16mm socket head bolts (2) M3 x 22mm socket head bolts (2) M3 x 8mm domed head bolts (5) M3 x 10mm domed head bolts (1) M3 Nyloc nuts (8) M3 standard nuts (2) M3 washers (2) Additionally, you will need self-tapping screws for the 40mm hotend fan. On January 8th, version 1.2 of the main mount was uploaded to address an issue with an undersized hole. On January 8th, version 1.3 of the Main Mount was uploaded with increased diameter holes for the hotend fan screws. This change also applies to the Cover, which is updated to version 1.1. On February 8th, the mount and cover assembly were revised to make the rear support for the cover removable, easing assembly. I would like to thank Fronthe for assembling the previous version and pointing out this issue, and apologize to anyone else who has already printed it. On February 8th, version 2.1 of the mount was added, featuring slots for zip ties on the cable pylon.
