#### Belt retention solution for Hangtight's e3d Titan Aero MGN12H mount ### Why this remix: This is a remix on Hangtight's "[Creality Titan Aero (V6 & Volcano) Mount + BL Touch/EZABL](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3078853)". More specifically, the MGN12H carriage version. I want to thank him for his great design and hope I can add value to it with this remix. In his post he writes: > "Please note that there is no provision for belt retention, just > because there's so many different ways of putting linear rails on a > machine. But it would be an excellent and simple first project for > someone to design a plate that is sandwiched between the mount and the > MGN12H carriage to retain the belt ends." As I wanted to upgrade my Creality CR-10S to a linear rail on the X axis, I needed a solution and found an elegant way that doesn't waste space between the MGN12H carriage and the nozzle. It adds a small part underneath the carriage with grooves that the belts slide in, just like the original Creality carriage. ### What do you need: - The modified Titan Aero MGN12H main mount (3D print) - The belt holder (3D print) - 2x M3 bolt: 10-20mm length (I think 10 should work, but a bit longer is better) - 2x M3 nut <br /> ### Optional: I found that the part cooling fan duct was blowing a bit too much behind the nozzle in my opinion. That is why I modified the fan duct a bit so that it sits back a few mm, directing the air perfectly under the nozzle tip. The other fan duct is still 100% compatible though.
