Creality tent enclosure full HEPA & activated carbon filter holder
thingiverse
This is a full HEPA and activated carbon filter holder which mounts into the Creality big enclosure/tent top flap. The filter holder fits the 390mm x 340mm opening, and has 20mm overhangs on the brim section. This gives some space for sealing to the enclosure material if you want a tighter seal by using double sided tape. The filter loaded into this holder is a Levoit LV-PUR131 (or equivalent clone) air purifier filter. Filter purchased from Amazon. In addition to the 3d printed parts, you will also need: 2 x 355mm 1/2" tubes 2x 430mm 1/2" tubes 1 x 655mm 1/2" tube 2x M5x8mm bolts and M5 tap (for tapping a thread into the 16mmPipeClamp components) 3x M4x25mm bolts and nuts for securing the top pieces together 4x M4x10mm(or longer) bolts and nuts for securing the air inlet frame together For the tubes i used 1/2" aluminum curtain rail tubes purchased from Home Depot Canada for less than 10 CAD which were then cut using an inexpensive tube/pipe cutter. The use of the filter itself also benefits from adding a 120mm intake fan to the enclosure (STL files also included) to produce a positive pressure inside the tent which forces out the exhaust through the filter at the top. I used a 120V 120mm fan with speed controller from Amazon. I cannot guarantee the effectiveness of this HEPA filter setup as i do not currently have a way of testing it other than anecdotal use. However when the enclosure is zipped up with fan on, air can be felt coming out of the top of the filter.
