IT IS UP TO YOU TO DETERMINE IF THIS MODIFICATION IS SUITABLE FOR YOUR NEEDS*** Parts needed: **M5 x 6 Threaded Inserts (two per bracket) 400MM MGN12H linear rails (minimum two, four preferably) M5 x 10 screws (two per bracket)** Brackets to replace the v-roller wheels with linear rails on the Creality Sermoon D1's Z-Axis. Linear rails help to improve the horizontal rigidity of the build plate gantry, helping to prevent one side or the other from falling out of level. Due to the design of the gantry itself IT IS STILL POSSIBLE FOR THE GANTRY TO FALL OUT OF LEVEL THOUGH, but this mod still does help with this issue. At a minimum you will need two 400mm MGN12H linear rails; on the left side the linear rail would replace the rollers closest to the front of the printer. On the right side, the rail would replace the rollers facing the rear of the printer. The reason for that is because the opposing v-rollers on each side have eccentric nuts that you can use to bring the rollers further in, taking up any slop in the z-axis. If you choose to use four linear rails, print out four brackets. When you mount the bracket on the side where the rollers with the eccentric nuts were, reuse the washers the v-rollers were using. Additionally, slightly stagger this side so it's either slightly higher or lower than the opposing side (helps with rigidity). You *DO NOT* need to use expensive high-grade HIWIN linear rails for this as even the cheapest rails you can get from AliExpress will be better than the v-rollers the printer came with. **Due to limited space I recommend using M5 x 6 inserts in the brackets where they attach to the build plate. You technically can just use M5 screws inserted from the outside in but again because of limited space it will be a challenge inserting the screws this way. With an M5 x 6 insert there will be very little room for error when you insert the as there isn't a lot of room left over for the insert. You could use an M4 x 4 insert and an M4 bolt but be aware that there may be some play with the holes on the build plate.**
