You're looking at a Z-Axis Stepper Bracket designed specifically for CR series printers, upgraded with 48mm stepper motors. Feel free to experiment with different infill patterns, but when it comes to motor mounting, a solid design is likely the way to go. I've used OEM mounting fasteners throughout this print. If you'd like a slightly smoother version, take a look at the "Z mount_R.stl" file - it's essentially the same thing, just with some more refined curves.
