Creality LD-002R Lid Gasket
thingiverse
The right side of the lid on my Creality LD-002R MSLA printer is slightly warped and so even if I used this excellent air scrubber by redbot (thing:4423456), I can still smell the resin odor since the fumes leak out of the lid. I designed this gasket in hopes that it would seal off fumes and so far after a 4-hr print, I didn't smell anything at all! Even my wife confirmed she can't smell anything even just a feet away from the printer. Since I don't have direct drive extruder on my Ender 3 Pro and cannot print flexible filament, I used PLA instead. I believe TPU or any other flexible material would be better since it's less stiff than PLA and would allow easier putting or lifting the lid. With the gasket corners with protruding "handles" at the back, attach the gasket using an adhesive of your choice. I opted for a strong double adhesive tape such as the 3M Permanent Outdoor Mounting tape since tape is easier to control over liquid adhesive. Plus the tape provided a nice accent to the printer! (see picture) Print the gasket upright with no supports. Interested to know how this design performs for anybody who makes one! Note: You might need to adjust your print bed max print area to be able to print this in one piece.
