Creality Junction for PTFE Tubes (Ender 3, CR-10, etc)
thingiverse
This is a bowden coupler I created to enable a junction between the bowden tube and the hotend. Creality hotends, along with any other hotend featuring a PTFE -> Nozzle contact surface, have a design flaw in that the PTFE tubing diameter decreases over time due to repeated heating and cooling (600+ print hours). I've discovered it's more cost-effective in the long run to simply replace the 8cm of bowden tube rather than continually trimming down until the entire tube needs replacement. You'll need two PC4-M6 fittings to complete the assembly, and trim the hotend side down to 8mm. I find that flaring the inserting end of the 8cm tube with an X-acto knife helps with loading.
