Creality hotend cooling and replaceable duct
cults3d
This is my attempt at a cooling setup for Creality style print heads, utilizing a Microswiss hotend that also works seamlessly with the standard hotend supplied with these printers. The design is compact, easy to print and assemble, making it accessible to users of all skill levels. I aimed to make this setup as universal as possible, allowing for adaptability and flexibility in its application. The tips are designed to be swap-able, enabling users to replace or modify them as needed without having to replace the entire setup. This modular design ensures that upgrading or modifying individual components is a breeze. In my testing, I've found that using PETG or ABS materials would have been ideal for this project, but I opted for PLA with ABS tips in the photo. The result showcases a durable and functional design that can be easily replicated by others. Currently, I'm running my fans in parallel on a 24v system without any issues, demonstrating its reliability and performance capabilities.
