Creality filamentholder
thingiverse
Made this printable bolt as a direct replacement for the original Creality spool holder part, specifically designed to replace the plastic component of the holder. Additionally, I created a bearing shell or cup for a 20x42x12 bearing, which allows me to use it on the filament holder, ensuring a smooth rollout of the industrial-sized core size from Form Futura 1kg filaments. A new nut was also designed, making the small shim in the picture obsolete. To print the bolt, support material is required. The 20x42x12 bearing dimension was chosen due to its affordability and widespread availability at most hardware stores, even though it may be considered an overkill. Two ball-bearings are needed, one for each side of the holder. An adapter with no bearing option is also available, but I strongly recommend using bearings for optimal performance. When printing the bolt, I suggest using five outer walls and filling 100% to ensure its strength.
