Creality Extruder - Axially Loaded
thingiverse
Assembly: First off, you need to melt the threaded insert from the original extruder onto this new one. There are two pieces, one fits on the lever while the other goes on the base component. Follow these steps next: 1) Attach the roller bearing from the old extruder to the new Ender_Lever_v002. It's recommended to use 2 washers - one on top of the bearing and the other at its bottom. 2) Insert Clamp_v002 into Extrusion_Base_v002 (it improves lever accuracy inside the base component; adjust with an M3 bolt). 3) Screw Pin_Extruder_v002 onto Extrusion_Base_v002 using an M3 bolt. 4) Insert an M4 nut into Ender_Lever_v002. 5) Insert Spring and Spring_Pin into Ender_Lever_v002, then screw on the M4 bolt from behind it. 6) Compress the spring and connect the assembly to the motor/printer. This extruder lets me print easily at speeds of 120 mm/s or more.
