2020-07-16 external controller box modified from Takayuki Mano's design to fit the stock controller PCB board removed from my Ender3 printer's frame. My Ender3 printer is housed in an optional enclosure chamber sold by Creality for printing high-temperature materials. As the ambient temperature inside the enclosure rises extremely high - mine reaches nearly 50 degrees Celsius if not ventilated - I fear that exposing the controller board with electronics parts inside to such high temperatures will cause premature failure. Requirements 1) Four M4x30mm hex wrench bolts are necessary. 2) A 92x92x25mm 24V, 0.1A fan is required. 3) Four rubber supports must be acquired. 5) Five M3x10mm screws (to secure the controller on the backside panel mounting positions) are needed. Note: The five PCB board mounting poles may break off during printing. If this happens, either increase the pole thickness or print those poles by adjusting the print Z height in Cura, and use an additional five screws to mount them securely on the backside panel.
