Creality Ender Hotend Duct Set
thingiverse
This is an updated Creality hotend duct set using the stock fans or drop-in replacements. There are 3 parts. The first is a spacer that allows better airflow to exit the back of the heatink, and has a hole for a 5x25mm temperature sensor commonly used by PWM fan controllers. This is handy if you have your printer in an enclosure, but need to ensure the filament doesn't overheat before getting to the nozzle. The second part is a redone version of the heatsink fan duct that uses two M3x40mm screws (the kind that secure the stupid X motor pulley cover) to secure everything to the backplate. It has 4 holes in front that can be tapped M3 to mount the heatsink fan, and 2 holes on top that can be tapped M2 to mount the nozzle cooling fan. The third part is a wishbone nozzle cooling duct that snaps on over the heatsink fan duct. It focuses airflow directly where it is needed most-- the tip of the nozzle--so you don't need a huge second fan to get good cooling. It directs air on the nozzle from each side, so just-extruded filament gets cooled from both sides.
