Creality Ender 6 external USB-port for Octoprint
thingiverse
The Creality Ender 6 doesn't have an external USB-port to connect an Raspberry Pi with Octoprint. There is only an USB-port on the board. This is a case with an external USB-port which can be mounted to an Ender 6. Step files included. I'm happy about every remix and make! You need: - Micro-USB extension cable with minimum 50cm length (e.g. https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07DS6KBJX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - 3x M3x10mm screw - 2x M3x6mm screw - 2x M3x10mm countersunk screw (Senkkopfschraube) Construction order: 1.) unmount the base plate 2.) mount the holder to the printer (you have to unscrew serveral srews, before you can slide the holder into the rails) 3.) connect the USB-cabel to the board 4.) lay the cable (I used yellow cable ties) 5.) mount the base plate an let the USB-cable come out of the base plate 6.) mount the USB-cable to cover 7.) mount the cover to the holder Please also take notice of my bearing the z-axis for the Ender 6 --> https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4818321
