Creality Ender 5 - X-Axis Cable Manager
thingiverse
In Creality Ender 5 3D printer, cables are pretty much left floating. While some people have already created a strain relief plastic piece for the heating bed, i haven't found any for the X-axis cables, so i decided to create a couple of pieces myself. One piece goes on the nozzle, so you can clip the thick cable onto it so it doesn't flex this much anymore around the entry point inside the fan cage. This piece can be fixed onto the front fan metal case by just unscrewing the small front screw, right next to the tube (see image). The second piece goes on the hood of the X-axis motor and it simply clips on. Above you can fix the thick cable that goes to the nozzle, below you can fix the smaller cables that go to the engine itself and it's sensor (also see image). Make sure you do these operations such that enough cable lengths are left, so that you don't impair the easy motion of the X or Y axis.
