Creality Ender 5 Spool Holder
thingiverse
I designed a new spool holder for my Creality Ender 5 because the original one was just too wide to fit my AMZ3D spools perfectly. This design is essentially identical, same length, but with a smaller diameter shaft and a simple threaded bolt setup. To print this design, place the nut flat down and the spindle upright with the threads facing downwards. Use supports for the spindle's shoulder just above the threads, and set the overhang angle to around 70 degrees to avoid any additional supports. I aimed to design it so that it prints without any further supports needed. I created a hollow center in this design as the structural integrity is sufficient, and I thought saving some material would be beneficial. I've included the STEP file if you'd like to improve or modify the design for your needs. Thanks, and I hope this works just as well for you as it does for me.
