This is a remixed version of the original that I found really frustrating. It incorporates the stock Ender5 endstop switch, and I reused my Z axis switch after switching to auto bed leveling - you could also buy one if you wanted to keep your standard leveling intact. Having both Auto bed leveling and filament runout detection is a sophisticated feature for the Ender platform, either requiring soldering to your original board and using third party firmware or using a different board entirely.\r\n\r\nThe filament now aligns perfectly with the extruder and no longer bends between the two. \r\n\r\nI expanded the screw holes as they were incredibly difficult to get the screw started in the first place.\r\n\r\nInstead of using PTFE tube as guides, I created extended tubes with funnels to guide the filament in, which closely follows the design of most commercial versions.\r\n\r\nI opened up the filament 'tunnel' just a bit, and this helped a lot with friction at least on my printer.\r\n\r\nI added a cover, as I like to keep my electronics shielded. The cover leaves open the switch lever so you can see your filament.\r\n\r\nRequirements:\r\n\r\n2x M3x4 screws (the original screws that came with your z-stop switch bracket)\r\n2x M3x8 screws (use with t-nuts to hold onto the frame)\r\n2x M3 T-nuts\r\n2x M3x12 screws (attach the cover)
