## Part Fan. ### Tusk Part Fan Shroud. ---------------------------------------- [Bobblejot Website](http://bobblejot.com) [Bobblejot GitHub](https://github.com/Bobblejot/) [Bobblejot Twitter](https://twitter.com/bobblejot) New part fan shroud based on the Tusk concept for Creality Ender 3 or compatible printers (CR10 etc.). This type of part fan is more efficient and simpler than other designs, allowing you to focus air exactly where it's needed without needing multiple part fans or huge assemblies. The tusks can be rotated easily to the desired position using a pair of long nose pliers, with holes positioned so the center hole lines up exactly with the nozzle. I've provided a small 3D printed jig to drill the holes in the correct position. When the aluminum tubing is pressed fully into the jig, it provides the length the tubing should be cut. For the Tusk holes, use a 2mm drill bit; you may need a 4mm for to clear out the Jig hole. Cut the Aluminum tubing with a small hacksaw or Dremel. Crimp the ends of the tubing with a vice or pliers, crimping the short end and pressing the long end into the fan shroud. The aluminum tubing I used was hobby stuff from eBay; I got three lengths at 400mm in a pack for £6.42. It measures 4mm OD by 3.1mm ID and should be easy to get hold of.
