Creality Ender 3 S1 Sonic Pad Side Mount
thingiverse
This is a mount for the Sonic Pad to the S1 and S1 Pro printers. There are several configurations that can be made depending on which ports you are using on the sonic pad to connect to the printer. Choose: 1) 8mm or 16mm spacing on the left side (printer side) The 8mm can be used if you are using the USB ports on the back of the pad, otherwise it will interfere with the bed. 2) unsupported or supported (peg leg) right side. All configs will need a center Also required: (4) button top M4 x 12 screws and 4 M4 nuts to connect the components (2) M3 x 10 hex socket head screws to attach the lower mount holes When printing, I used supports for the left mount due to the mounting guide. Set-up: 1) Insert the (4) M4 nuts into the cut outs in the center section 2) Assemble the selected 3 sections using the (4) M4 screws 3) Remove the stock legs from the Sonic Pad 3) Attach the Sonic Pad to the mount using the 2 original screws from the step above in the upper holes and (2) M3 screws 4) Disconnect and remove the stock control unit 5) Mount the Sonic Pad using the original (3) control unit screws. (There is a mounting guide on the left support to assist with this) If you are comfortable soldering, you might also want to consider wiring up the extra USB connection on the main board. That way you can run it out the bottom of the printer body and not have a USB constantly plugged in the front of your printer.
