I created this bobbin winding system to reduce the effort required of the extruder when pulling filament. As you can see from the photo between the shaft and bearing, I had to add a little adhesive tape to remove 1mm of space with the bearing. The best benefit of this system is achieved when printing soft filaments like TPU.
