<h2>Auto Off for Ender 3 Pro - No Drilling Required!</h2> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <p>October 22, 2020 Update:</p> <p>I've added the lever with the filament hole in the file section.</p> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <p>September 7, 2020 Update:</p> <p>The PLA hinge started to bend, so I made an adjustment to the design and added a support - Hinge_V2.</p> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <p>I wanted an auto off feature for my Ender 3 Pro, but I couldn't find any Thing that fit my needs. Then I stumbled upon two great designs from 3D_PrintSlav (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3697789) and stuartwaudby (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4421877).</p> <p>However, those designs required drilling and bolts that I didn't have on hand. That's why I created a hinge using the Ender 3 Pro's aluminum extrusion profile.</p> <p>The hinge pin is made from 1.75mm filament, eliminating the need for drilling or bolts.</p> <p>You'll also need to download the Ender_3_auto_shutdown_handle.stl file (https://cdn.thingiverse.com/assets/af/89/25/0b/30/Ender_3_auto_shutdown_handle.stl) from 3D_PrintSlav's original design.</p> <p>This is my first remix, so feel free to comment and suggest improvements!</p>
