Creality Ender 3 Linear Rail X Axis Mounting Plate V2.5
thingiverse
This is a mounting plate I designed to fit onto an MGN12H linear rail carriage for the Creality Ender 3 x axis. I seated my linear rail right next to the limit switch so that the carriage activates the switch without falling off or exposing any ball bearings. After doing quite a few prints with this, I can say I am quite happy with it. I find that I am not needing to level my bed as much and when I do level it the hot end doesn’t move up and down like it did with the wheels which messed up my leveling. V2: - Moved the mounting holes over by 5 mm to reclaim space lost in x axis in the first version. - MGN12H holes now recessed and are flush with the mounting plate so the m3-8mm screws screw in a good amount - Fixed left mounting hole for fan shroud V2.5: - Included a new DWG for autocad, you can edit this to your liking for your own bracket - Included a pdf for the DWG that you can print out, glue to poster board and cut out to make a template so you can make your own mount made out of aluminum (much better solution than printed plastic for high temperature plastics). - I do recommend you use the new PDF to make an aluminum mount as this is a better permanent solution and allows you to use higher temperature plastics than would be allowed with the plastic mount
