Creality Ender 3 Handle Remix

Evening Update 3/12/21 - Another problem found. In Ender_3_Handle_Remix_2.stl the clearance holes for the leveling screws are too small (diameter). I created a Ender_3_Handle_Remix_2_V3.stl which addresses this problem. If you've already printed it out V2, drill it out. Note for both V2 & V3 - I did NOT like how much more the back two adjustment screws had to be tightened down to level the bed. It IS possible, but it was a no go for me. To resolve that, there are three options: 1. Print the spacer I uploaded for the front two screws. 2. Use Ender_3_Handle_Remix_2_V4 which removes that bottom, and the handle 'bosses' fit around the urethane springs. 3. Stick with the original and mount it under the the Y axis slide (that might be how it was intended to be used, I couldn't find any evidence either way. The one I chose was #3 since I had that one printed out earlier in the week. I do have another printer on the way, I'll most likely print out the spacers and see how they work out and use the V3 handle I still have. ______________________________________________________________________ Update 3/12/21 - There is an issue with the design. The left spring pocket does not go as deep as the other one. I have corrected this and have uploaded a replacement .stl file, Remix_2 (I call it V2) Two new images added showing the new design with the urethane springs in place. Will be installing later this afternoon, and posting another update after. ______________________________________________________________________ This is a remix of the handle included in this Thingiverse item: Ender 3 bed handle with removable Raspberry Pi camera mount by PatriceLoco - https://www.thingiverse.com/patriceloco/designs https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3889598 I'm switching over to the urethane springs and the original handle wasn't going to work. So my solution was to remix the handle, creating larger bosses with spring pockets to accommodate the larger diameter of the urethane springs. The original handle thickness was roughly 5mm. The spring pocket has a floor of 3mm thickness - this is a work in progress, and I will be printing the handle soon. I will upload and update as needed.
