Creality Ender 3 Filament Arm

Creality Ender 3 Filament Arm

thingiverse

This is my first design, crafted using the versatile Tinker CAD software. It seamlessly integrates into an extruded aluminum frame without the need for nuts or bolts. I've positioned my filament spool at the top of the frame and aimed to prevent the filament from coming into contact with the lead screw. My goal was to achieve this without relying on additional hardware, such as T-Nuts or bolts. As evident in the accompanying photos, taken amidst a somewhat disorganized workspace, the filament arm skillfully avoids the lead screw by a short margin. The design's dimensions are approximately 45 MM in length and 15 mm in width, making it a relatively compact print. It took around 12 iterations to refine the design. Key specifications for this project include: - CAD Software: TinkerCADD - Slicer: Cura 3.6.0 - Computer: MacBook Pro
