I've relocated my spool to a spot beside my printer and noticed that the spool keeps turning at an angle while feeding into the extruder. So, I designed this adapter which enables the spool to sit on its natural incline. It also means the spool can be positioned closer to the printer and feed more smoothly. Since this adapter needs to support the weight of a spool (tested with 1kg spools only), I recommend high infill of 20% or more. No supports are necessary, and a layer height of 0.2mm is sufficient. After printing, I pushed it into the factory spool holder and then secured it to the printer using the factory nuts.
