I felt uneasy about the Ender 3 fan being wide open to fragments of filament falling into the board enclosure. Air can easily get in while it's running, and the fan sucks air right under the heated bed. This shroud ensures the top is covered, keeping debris out, and air comes in from the front instead of the base of the bed. Despite the Ender 3 having possibly the best printing surface I've ever used, I have had a few prints lift at the front left corner. It's unclear whether it's definitely the board fan pulling air on the underside of the bed, but it can't help. I included a step file for anyone to modify as they see fit. If you need another type of file, feel free to ask. To install the shroud, remove the two screws from the top of the board enclosure, attach it, and then replace the screws. Thanks to kennyboy for pointing out that printing on its end doesn't require supports; that's a great tip! I added an updated version with fins running along the inside so it prints flat without support. It also looks better from the front now. Your kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated; the coffee is much needed!
