Creality Ender 3 Adjustable Z Endstop REMIX

Creality Ender 3 Adjustable Z Endstop REMIX

thingiverse

Remixed the adjustable Z End Stop designed by jannoke. *You will need 2x m3 nuts, 1x m3x25 or longer bolt, and 1 spring (stock bed spring size).* I redesigned most of the Z End Stop for Ender 3 and Creality printers on thingiverse. When I found this design, it was very similar in overall design to what I wanted, so I remixed his design instead. I made several changes and printed six variations before getting something close enough to my desired outcome. As a result, the base and slider are not compatible with the original. The original design had too much play between the base and slider for my needs. So I reduced clearance between the base and slider, added a back wall to prevent twist or flex and ensure limit switch never touches aluminum extrusion, and increased length of slider and adjusted base accordingly. I also made cosmetic changes. To make it look sleeker, I rounded out the front around spring area. I rebuilt knob to have markings on sides and indicate direction of rotation to move up switch. Notes: *My model is printed from PETG, and everything assembled easily with no post processing. However, if your printer isn't well-calibrated, original model will be easier to print. I also recommend printing wheel upside down since it makes text easier to read.*
