Creality CR5 Hot End Adapter.

CR5 hot end fan spacer. I tried to find a replacement to the original heat break but I could not find an identical one; and I also could not find an equivalent heat sink. The original heat sink that I have has four holes. Two are for mounting the hot end to the CR5 X-Y gantry frame and two are used to mount the fan (with a spacer) to the hot end. It looks like all available Creality compatible hot ends only have two holes for mounting the hot end to a frame. So I made this replacement spacer that gets secured to the hot end by making use of the two holes that secure the hot end to the frame. Then you can secure the fan to the spacer using two 8mm M3 screws and two M3 nuts + lock washers. You can still use this fan spacer with the original hardware but more importantly you can also use it with different hot ends that only have two holes. When the hot end is at 275C I measured the heat sink temperature at 45C. So I think this is okay to print in PLA but PETG or ABS will be better. The original fan spacer was printed as well… I used 20% infill and 0.2mm layer height.
