Creality CR10S Pro USB Support
thingiverse
This is a small bracket designed to support the mini USB connector when plugged into the side of a CR10S Pro printer, as well as possibly other printers. The mini USB connectors are prone to instability due to the weight of the cable pulling them down and putting excessive strain on both the plug and the socket inside the main board. As seen in the picture, my own USB plug had become bent from the constant downward pressure exerted by the cable. To address this issue, I created a small bracket using TinkerCad that can be securely attached to the side of the printer. This bracket provides vital support for the plug and prevents it from sagging while also establishing a more stable connection. Once you have printed out the bracket, apply some double-sided tape to its back and cut out the hole. Then, insert the USB plug through the hole and connect it to the printer as usual. Next, slide the bracket over the plug and stick it firmly to the side of the printer. This design does not obstruct access to the MicroSD card slot in any way.
