This mod lets you move the sensor off to one side of the machine. It's no longer part of the hotend; instead, it's attached directly to the frame itself. *************How to Install************ * I used a few strips of 3M tape to secure the mount, then added a few drops of loctite afterwards. * You'll need to install a nut and bolt, which allows you to lock the sensor in place once the height is adjusted. **********Why I Made This************ I created this mod because I had to replace my original sensor. Since it wasn't available at the Creality store, I found one on Amazon: "https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M1777XK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1". This new sensor works great, but it lacks the adjustable gain feature of my old one. As a result, it needs to be much closer to the bed in order to function properly. I also had to add a sheet of aluminum foil under the glass to help it sense the surface. These drawbacks mean that for the sensor to work at all, it must be positioned just 0.2/0.4mm above the bed.
