I designed custom frame brackets for my Creality CR-10S using 15x15mm aluminum bars to enhance the structural integrity, minimize vibrations at higher gantry levels that could impact taller print quality, and accommodate a high-clearance E3D V6 hotend upgrade. The top part has a generous clearance to fit the upgraded hotend without any issues. I utilized 6mm diameter holes for M5 bolts and nuts, along with T-nuts to provide added stability. To distribute the load evenly around the holes, I employed M5x12mm and M5x30mm bolts with washers. It's essential to ensure that your printer is precisely leveled before proceeding, as tolerances are quite tight. When printing the brackets, place the flat surface of the bed on a stable platform.
