Creality Cr10 Micro SD to SD Adapter v2
thingiverse
This is a new version v2, now with big chamfered edges to make it look more visually appealing. The old one can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3252444. If you found this design extremely helpful or wish to support me in any way, please consider buying me a cup of coffee; it helps keep my brain active so I can create new content. I recently modified my Cr-10s to accept an SD card instead of the micro SD via an adapter from China. Instead of having the cable and SD housing dangling by the side of the control unit, I decided to create a housing that perfectly holds it all. Initially, I would have used the housing provided with the SD adapter, but I found out it was very easy to split apart, so I made a smoother SD card insert in the case I designed to screw onto the side of the control unit. The two original screws can be used to secure this adapter case in place. Printing without support should not be necessary, but you could use support for the holes where the screws go. The design is meant to be printed flat on a large surface with the SD Card symbol facing down onto the heatbed.
