I've been experiencing issues with my CR-10s' extruder spring pressure, but I didn't want to wait for parts or find a way to increase the pressure from the spring right away. So, I came up with a simple solution - a 2mm spacer that fits between the spring and one of the alignment caps, as shown in the picture. I just wanted to mention that the spacer adds about 3mm of height to the spring, which puts extra pressure on the bearing and gear. You might need to recalibrate your extruder if it was previously calibrated with the gear slipping. My own extruder tends to leave visible teeth marks on the filament, but this may vary depending on individual setups.
