Creality CR-7 Heated Bed Adapter

I adore my budget-friendly CR-7 as it is surprisingly quiet and boasts exceptional print quality after making some adjustments. However, it falls short in lacking a heated bed, which restricts it to printing with PLA and PETG on a warm day only. This adapter will make up for that deficiency. I'm hesitant to share this review because the adapter was designed specifically for one particular heated bed, which I purchased from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GEYT0B0/), and has a questionable reputation. You might have noticed the two-star review on Amazon - that's me. My main issue with it was related to problems with the wiring harness, but as long as you inspect it thoroughly (remove the pins from the connector and verify they were properly crimped), you should be fine. Probably. ***UPDATE 11-25-2017*** The product seems to have vanished from the market for now. This might be a temporary issue, or I could find a different adapter that suits my needs. However, I did discover a 24V version listed here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GF04860/. Keep in mind that you'll need to provide separate power using a relay or mosfet type device, otherwise it might not get hot enough on 12V alone.
