Creality CR-30 lowering kit (45° to 15°)
prusaprinters

Easily change the angle of your CR-30! These parts allow you to drop the printer's gantry angle all the way down to 15°, theoretically improving belt adhesion and printability of common parts - especially overhangs that angle away from the nozzle.

However, there are still a few caveats:

Slicer support is limited for 15°. While you can select 15° in Creality belt, the resulting gcode is only really only usable when printing solid or thin-walled parts

Maximum print height is reduced to about 62mm

Print head will collide with belt adjustment screws on homing. Install an additional endstop block (e.g. the gantry to frame connector dowel) to limit X-axis travel length

Belt adhesion does not seem to improve, possibly, again, due to slicer limitations

The resulting angle may not be exactly 15° (or there may be other factors at work that make it seem that way. Prints sometimes come out slightly skewed.

Parts needed for assembly:

A couple M4x10 screws and washers; M4 2020 hammer nuts.
