Creality CR-20 Lead Screw Stabiliser
thingiverse
Stabiliser for Creality CR-20 lead screw. All holes have been widened by 0.2 millimeters for added tolerance. Designed specifically for a 0.2-millimeter layer height, this part requires structural print settings with 100% infill. The estimated print time is one hour. Additional materials are needed to complete the assembly: 1x 608 ball bearing 2x M4 screws, ten millimeters in length 2x 2020 T nuts Once printed, press-fit the bearing inside and secure it in place by attaching the Z-axis carriage to the top position. Next, attach the stabilizer to the lead screw and finally screw it into the 2020 frame. The result is improved printing. Note: With this stabilizer installed, the maximum Z height is 237 millimeters, which is six millimeters less than my stock maximum of 243 millimeters. To gain the full print height, you can install the mount upside down with the bearing facing downwards. However, this would put the bearing at risk of falling out and is not worth the extra six millimeters in height.
