Creality CR-10S Upgrades
thingiverse
It seems like you've been quite busy upgrading your CR-10 Ultimate 3D printer. Here are some of the upgrades and modifications you've made: * **Heater Upgrade**: You're waiting for a new motherboard to arrive from China, so in the meantime, you're using blue tape to hold the bed clips in place. * **Bed Clips**: You've replaced the binder clips that came with the printer with CR-10 Bed Clips, which are easier to use. * **Filament Upgrades**: * You've installed a Flexi Plus extruder, which makes loading new filament much easier. * You're using Mega Anti-Tangle Spool Holder and TUSH - The Ultimate Spool Holder to manage your filament spools. * You've upgraded to aluminum drive feed for the MK8 extruders and replaced the stock extruder gear with a tool steel version. * **Hot End Upgrades**: * Due to user error, you damaged your stock heatsink and had to replace it. You also installed an E3D Clone Heater Block Replacement for CR-10 (early version) stock heater block. * When you got the new hot end up and running, you printed a V6 mount so you have options for future upgrades. * **Auto Bed Leveling**: This is a work in progress. You've chosen a capacitive proximity sensor over an inductive one to work with your glass bed. * **Firmware**: You started with stock Marlin 1.1.8 and followed the guide on Printed Solid (for 1.1.6 and 1.1.7). You configured automatic bed leveling and made changes, which can be found in Diff Report.txt. You have several upgrades planned but not yet implemented: * **E3D V6 All-Metal Hotend**: You've ordered this upgrade. * **Petsfang Duct for CR10**: This is also on your to-do list. * **5015 fan upgrade**: You're waiting for this upgrade to arrive. * **Supporting Rod Set For Creality 3D CR-10**: You've listed this as a planned upgrade. I hope this helps you keep track of your upgrades and modifications. Good luck with the rest of your upgrading process!
