Creality CR-10S PRO Air Duct
thingiverse
I engineered this inlet duct as a solution to the issue where my heatsink cooling fan requires frequent replacement due to random strands being wrapped around it, causing jammed rotation noise at low speeds until the fan warms up and starts rotating smoothly at full speed. When cleaning or replacing the fan, I realized that preventing clogging was a more effective approach. To achieve this, I designed the duct with its opening facing upwards, ensuring that stray strands from the print cannot enter the fan. To secure the duct in place, I utilized Scotch double-sided glue. This design is specifically tailored for the Creality CR-10S PRO, but it should also fit other fan guards with an outer frame of approximately 43mm.
