Creality CR-10S Bondtech BMG Extended Arm Sensor Mount
thingiverse
Remodelled official Bondtech BMG Creality CR-10S mount. The main problem with the standard mount is that it's hard to remove the piece of filament still in the bowden tube without a lot of fiddling around when the end of the filament passes the sensor. The extended sensor arm makes it easy to access the end of the filament after it has passed the sensor switch, making everything much simpler. It also prevents the BondTech from destroying the switch when using it to unload the filament. Grab the end of the filament from the gap between the sensor and the extruder and unload by your preferred method. This makes things a lot easier. I removed the need for supports under the sensor block during printing and increased the clearance in the filament path for the sensor switch, as the latter's lever arm can foul on the top of the chamber. Please note: I give full credit to Bondtech for their original design. All I did here was remix it. For your convenience, the reduced support version of the standard Bondtech BMG mount is included, along with the unmodified Sensor Cap Plate.
