Creality CR-10 V2 Extruder Direct Drive Mount

Direct Drive Mount for Stock CR10 V2 Extruder Prints Very Quickly, Extremely Easy to Use. The extruder faces forward for a clearer view of the drive gear. This makes it easier to work with the extruder and check its performance. There are two models available: one includes a filament sensor, while the other does not. The filament sensor screws directly into the model. To ensure proper alignment, place a spacer under the sensor to lift it slightly from the board. I chose not to include the screw standoffs used in the original mount so that you can print on its front side. This model can be printed on either its front or right-hand sides using supports. To use this direct drive mount, you'll need to extend the wiring for the extruder and filament sensor if you plan to move them. If you don't relocate the filament sensor, cut a short length of filament and insert it into the sensor so that the light comes on. I found my printer worked perfectly with no filament in the sensor or if its left unplugged. Important: After completing your installation, remember to check that your cable moves freely across the entire X axis at maximum Z height. Any tightness or pulling can lead to fatigue and eventual failure of the cable at an inconvenient time.
