The slide keeps the cable from getting stuck at the back of the frame. Spray some silicone onto the top of the slide to make it easier for the cable sheath to glide along the slide. The slide is held in place on the frame by M3 screws and a "T-nut M3 rotating 2020 V-slot" which can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3050607
