Custom Cooling Fan Deflector Upgrade -------------------------------------- Replace the flimsy stock cooling fan deflector with a sturdy, well-designed upgrade that directs cool air directly onto the nozzle and not just anywhere. The new deflector features mounting tabs that are less prone to breaking, ensuring a secure fit. Choose from Two Mounting Options: -------------------------------- The front mount style fits snugly over the part cooling fan, while the rear mount style slips effortlessly between the fan and the hotend fan cover. Both designs boast built-in wire guides to keep pesky fan wires out of your x gantry's way. Required Hardware: ------------------- Four 20mm M2 screws are needed for a secure installation when using the front mount deflector. Design Improvements: --------------------- 9/19/2019: The design was tweaked to reduce plastic usage and sit slightly higher, preventing blobs from forming on prints near the bed. 9/20/2019: A modification was made to seal the front side of the deflector, ensuring cool air stays where it belongs. 12/30/2019: The rear mount deflector underwent a redesign to minimize air flow onto the nozzle.
