I wanted to add a longer support to the filament with a smooth curve, since my control unit is positioned behind my printer and not alongside it as I'm used to. The hole was designed to accommodate a short section of PTFE tubing (about 5cm, with one end sealed). To compensate for the added weight of this "tunnel," I reduced the right screw hole so that the screw head can keep the part from shifting out of place.
