Creality CR-10 extr bracket for flex with cable holder
thingiverse
This is a custom extruder bracket I designed with a cable holder and expanded hole for the filament input tube to accommodate flexible materials. To prevent damage to cables, I added a cable holder on one side of it as the printbed on my CR-10 printer tends to rub against them when moving. To print flexible filaments using this setup, you need to insert a 10mm piece of feeding tube into the enlarged hole where filament normally goes in. Then cut its edge at an angle that best fits between the two wheels driving the filament. I based this design on an existing bracket model available here, but the original had a hole for the tube plug that was too big and poor threading caused it to pop out during printing. My version is not a copy or rip-off; I measured the original part using a vernier caliper and recreated it with Autodesk Inventor. Since different printers may have varying measurements due to unique conditions, I included the source .ipt-file in the archive so you can edit it if needed for your specific printer setup.
