**Update 6/24/2018** I made the mounting holes for the fan smaller at 3mm dia, allowing for a standard M3 screw to thread directly into the plastic when screwed in slowly. To increase the likelihood of successful printing, I also added more material to the sides and bottom of the duct opening. With minimal supports on the inside, I've had success printing it upside down. The little pancake blower fan on my Creality printers never lasts more than a few months before having problems arise. Deciding to come up with a quick mount and duct that didn't require printer modification, I set out to create something new. The result is this duct/mount that clips onto the metal fan housing from the top, screwing tight using the bottom two mounting holes (M2 thread screws). Any standard 40mm fan can be mounted to the duct for a quick install and replacement as needed.
