Belt Tensioner for CR-10 with Dual Z-Axis Add-On: A Customized Solution I recently encountered an issue with my CR-10 printer's dual Z-axis setup, where the belt was too loose to achieve synchronization. To resolve this problem, I designed a simple adjustable tensioner that fits snugly on the top rail of the CR-10 and adjusts using two M3 screws secured by 2020 T nuts. A 5/16 inch bolt with a length of 1 1/4 inches serves as the central component, providing ample space for a nylon or other locking nut underneath. Alternatively, you can use a regular nut with Loctite for added security. Since I didn't have a 1 1/4 inch bolt, I opted for a 1 1/2 inch bolt and created a custom 1/4 inch washer to function as a spacer. To cater to different printer configurations, two versions of the tensioner are offered: the original and a shorter variant with narrower slots that better accommodate the M3 screws.
