Creality CR 10 500mm 300mm Frame Braces, spool holder and control box support

These are my upgrades for the Creality CR-10 S5 500mm printer. The frame braces and spool holder utilize M8 threaded rods and M8 nuts. The spool holder relies on two 608 ball bearings The rods must be at least 72 cm long for the two braces and 15 cm for the spool holder. So if you buy two 1m rods, you should have more than enough. The parts are attached to the frame with M4 bolts and matching T slot nuts. You will need eighteen T slot nuts in total. All parts can be printed easily with no or minimal support. The top brace must be flipped 180 degrees to print on its top side. The control box arms are best printed lying down on their sides. I printed mine in ABS on a Wanhao 4Ds with a 0.1 mm layer height for a smooth finish, although .2 or more will work just fine. Four outlines, four top and four bottom layers at around 25% infill for strength, although less will also be effective. Support is only required from the build plate. 26th May 2018: Untested revision uploaded to fit 300mm frame based on measurements given in comments. 9th June 2018: Large size spool holder added. 24th June 2018: Dual Z lock for the CR10-500 implemented. I have experienced issues with the two sides getting out of alignment, so I looked at the possibilities and discovered that one GT2 1220mm closed belt and two 50 teeth GT2 pulleys fit perfectly. You lose approximately twenty mm in Z travel. This can be reduced to around ten mm if you flip the pulleys but I wanted them as close to the top bearings as possible. When mounting them, ensure that your bed is aligned at the same height above the frame on both sides and only then rotate each Z axis so that the X axis are parallel with the bed. I created a small bed level piece that can be printed and used to help align the bed. The 50 teeth pulleys may be more difficult to find compared to 40 and 60, but I located them on aliexpress.
