Beta testing of a mount and duct for the Bondtech BMG extruder and V6/ Volcano as a direct drive configuration. The duct prints in the orientation pictured without any supports required. The mount prints with minimal supports to the large hole and the bridge over the duct mounting slot, requiring only basic assembly skills. A selection of M3 nuts and bolts are needed for easy assembly. A comprehensive hardware list will be provided soon. There is ample space to route the stepper wires underneath and behind the heat sink, ensuring a clean setup. There is also a cable tie slot provided behind the heatsink for secure cable retention. BLTouch offsets are: X = 43.8, Y = 0, providing precise calibration. 7-12-18: A revised CFD optimised duct has been uploaded, replacing the original file. It fits onto the same mount, so no additional parts are required. Extra vertical adjustment has also been included, allowing for greater flexibility. 13-12-18: The slots for the M3 nuts on the duct have been enlarged to ensure easier installation. 29-12-18: A user has remixed an EZABL mount, available on Thingiverse. 30/12/18: The mounting plate has been revised to accommodate changes in the X carriage made by the manufacturer. It is now compatible with both older and newer versions. 18-1-19: An 18mm EZABL mount has been added for users who prefer this configuration. 31-1-19: V3 of the mounting plate has been uploaded to account for the longer hotend lugs on more recent X carriages. 9-2-19: BLTouch and EZABL brackets have been modified to suit thicker mounting plates.
