Warning: Installing this on your Creality 3D printer will significantly reduce the available Z height for printing. Be cautious when printing items, as you'll likely need to limit the Z-axis to 25mm less than specified. If your extruder has a knob, you may also need to limit it. The Creality printers' lead screw driving the Z axis often lacks support at the top. I designed this adjustable support to fill that gap and provide a stable base for the lead screw. This design features a 688ZZ bearing (16mm OD, 8mm ID, 5mm width) to support the lead screw and allow it to turn freely. These bearings can be purchased inexpensively from eBay or other online marketplaces. The support glides sideways in the V-groove, providing precise alignment of the bearing with your printer's lead screw. The bearing holder offers 4mm of movement for optimal adjustment. Required hardware includes: 1 x 688ZZ bearing 2 x M5x20 bolts 2 x M5 T-nuts 2 x M3x12 (16 and 20 also supported) bolts 2 x M3 nuts While the design files are my own creation, I acknowledge that the idea and basic structure originated from Caster's "CR-10 Dual Z axis with single stepper. Low cost high precision."
