Creality 5015 Fan Duct
thingiverse
All credit for the original design goes to ChrisRD. This is a very simple cooler/fan duct that's easy to work with and gives you great visibility into all its components. The cooler should work with most Creality printers, including the CR-10(S), Ender-3, Ender-2, and the Ender-5. In my experience, the cooler does about 80% of what larger, more complicated coolers do. However, I think it's worth the trade-off since this cooler is so much easier to work with if something ever goes wrong with the hotend. The gcode file is ready to print (the print takes around 7 hours). You can use that if you're new to 3D printing and find it hard to get the right settings for the model or just don't feel like it. The gcode prints at 200C, but you can change the temperature after starting the print if needed. The version I posted has holes for zip ties. If you have any suggestions on how to improve the design further, please leave a comment. Sorry if my English is bad - it's not my first language. Things remixed from the original model: I remade the fan duct to aim more precisely below the nozzle tip. Yes, I tested overhangs with the original and then my remix, and my remix did much better. I made the screw holes larger so that they no longer screw into the part itself but instead just go through (as they should). I relocated the zip tie holes higher up since before they were blocked when you put in your 5015 fan. I also created a version without zip tie holes. I flattened the round duct for the 40x40 fan on top and bottom to make support removal less of a mess.
