This part comes with Creality printers, already shortened for me, so I've taken a further step and lengthened it, also refining the end to fit snugly within a 3kg spool. The tiny holes that come with it puzzle me, but here we are. Printing this is straightforward, but some adhesive is needed to hold its various components together. A plastic bond would be an ideal choice. To assemble it securely, rotate the inner walls so they align vertically with gravity - as the spool hangs, naturally.
